Submission Guidelines

We invite researchers and clinicians to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. All submissions will be reviewed by the scientific committee.

Before you Begin

All abstracts must be submitted through the online submission system. The abstract must be written in English and cannot be modified after submission.

Content & Format

Maximum 250 words (excluding title, author information, and affiliations). Structure: Background/Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusions.

Author Information

Provide full names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses of all authors. Clearly identify the presenting author.

Submission Guidelines

Presentation Formats

E-Poster

All accepted E-Posters will be presented orally for audiences at designated presentation stations during an assigned date and time.
Only text is required for abstract submission. Upon acceptance, the e-poster template and formatting guidelines will be sent to you via email, which you should then return by email.
The presenting (submitting/first) author must present the abstract in person.

E-Video

Video submissions should highlight innovative surgical techniques, clinical procedures, or educational content relevant to oculoplastic, orbital, and lacrimal surgery. Text is required for abstract submission. Meanwhile, please send the video via email (using the same email address for submission) to program@wsopras2027.org.We recommend that you submit your video file complying with the format requirements via email together with your written content. Any video files submitted after November 30, 2026 will be deemed invalid.
Video Submission Guidelines
- Submission requires a short written structured abstract.
- Videos must be submitted in MP4 format.
- Maximum video length is 3 minutes.
- Recommended video resolution: 1920 × 1080 (Full HD).
- Videos will be displayed on monitors without audio during the meeting. Therefore, subtitle captions are strongly encouraged to ensure your content can be fully appreciated by attendees.
- Videos cannot be modified after submission, so please review your file carefully before uploading.
- Videos will be available for viewing on conference monitors throughout the meeting.

Please note: A limited number of E-Poster submissions will be selected for the Rapid-Fire Oral Communication Session. Authors selected for this session will be notified after the abstract review process.

Eligibility

Abstracts should report original research in the fields of oculoplastic, orbital, lacrimal, and related surgery. Abstracts that have been previously published or presented at another scientific meeting may not be accepted.

Guidelines for Submission

The submitting author must be listed as the first author and is required to register for and attend the meeting in person to present the work if accepted.
Abstracts must be submitted in English.
Avoid abbreviations in the title.
Titles must not exceed 100 characters (including spaces).
Abstract text must not exceed 250 words (including spaces, punctuation, numbers, and symbols).
Abstracts must be structured using the following headings: Objective, Methods, Results, Discussion/Conclusion.
A Conflict of Interest/Financial Disclosure statement is required.
Abstracts will be published exactly as submitted. Please proofread carefully before submission.
All co-authors must include their institutional affiliation, city, and country.
Each submitting author may submit a maximum of two abstracts.
Abstracts must be submitted through the online submission system. Abstracts submitted by email will not be considered.
Authors are responsible for obtaining all necessary patient consent and institutional approvals, where applicable.
Commercial product names should be avoided, and generic names used whenever possible.
Video submission (maximum duration is 3 minutes) also requires a short written structured abstract.

Notification of acceptances for presentation/poster: January 4, 2027
End of early bird registration: January 25, 2027

Please note: Acceptance of your abstract is contingent upon completion of your congress registration. To confirm your presentation, the presenting author must register for the congress by January 25, 2027. Abstracts for which the presenting author has not registered by this deadline will be withdrawn from the scientific program. This policy allows sufficient time to revise the program and invite alternate presenters if necessary.
